LGM has Received another Order for HP LNG FGSS

Recently, LGM has signed the high pressure fuel gas supply system contract with Qingshan Shipyard for the first 25,000DWT Ice Class Cargo Vessel in the world. This is LGM another HP FGSS order after WEICHAI project. The vessel is equipped with MAN high pressure DF main engine and the gas supply pressure is 315 bar.The FGSS equipments will be approved by DNV-GL.

 

The business contract comes into effect now, LGM is responsible for providing the whole LNG FGSS, and the scope of supply including two sets of LNG bunkering stations which is arranged separately on port and starboard, one set of transversal arranged LNG storage tank module, one set of high &low pressure gas supply unit, W/G system, high &low pressure double wall pipes, venting system, gas detection system and LNG fuel security & control system etc.

Moreover, the FGSS has one BOG handling system. BOG will be supplied to the DF boiler for consuming directly after heated when the pressure of storage tanks is higher than normal, which extremely reduce air pollution which is caused by natural gas emission.
