LGM Engineering awarded order for four dual fuel bulk carriers LNG fuel gas supply systems

Gloryholder Liquefied Gas Machinery (DL) Co., Ltd (LGM Engineering) signed a LNG fuel gas supply system contract for four 190,000 DWT dual fuel bulk carriers with Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (SWS) in June 2021. This is the second series ship order between LGM Engineering and SWS. The deliveries of the LNG fuel gas supply systems will start in Mar. 2022. The shipowner is U-Ming, and the Classification Society is DNV.

The ship is a new generation of dual-fuel Bulk ship with greater economic advantages, meeting the latest standards of IMO IGF Code, NOX TierIII, SOX 2020 and 2025 EEDI Phase III requirements, with superior environmental performance.

LGM Engineering will provide an EPC delivery of the LNG fuel gas supply system package for the subjected vessels. The scope of supply includes; two sets of type C single walled LNG fuel tanks with PUF insulation, LNG bunkering stations, HP/LP gas supply system, Water/Glycol system ESD system and N2 generator system as well as system commissioning, gas trail, and crew training.

As the improvement of environmental standards and regulations, LNG-powered vessels will gradually take a larger share of the market. So that LGM Engineering will develop and upgrade the system continuously according to the market demand. These orders have further proven the strong brand of LGM Engineering in the LNG FGSS field.
